A Summer Tablescape

A Summer Tablescape

Tablescapes are one of our favorite ways to express personality in our home.  They are so fun to switch up with the seasons or for that special party we are hosting.

Typically, we keep it simple in the summer time and love the light and vintage coastal feel ticking stripe gives us.

Courtney, from @mrs.courtney.mussina, loves that vibe too and created a gorgeous table by combining some of her favorite Laurel Grove pieces.

Courtney used our ticking stripe table linens as a solid foundation then layered elements to add texture and dimension.  This serves as a prefect strategy as the seasons change as well.  Keep your foundational elements set (see what I did there? Table? Set?) and switch things out when Mother Nature tells you it’s time.

This is a very simple and clean look-and could serve as your year-round foundation.  Layered on the runner are our stone coasters and sweet bud vases set in reclaimed wood.  The peony buds are indicative of the season, but imagine this look with Holiday greens, or with pumpkins scattered on the runner and stacked on the coasters!

Here, Courtney’s table is fully set.  She’s added natural textural elements like wood, enamel, cement, ceramic, and a floral touch to pack that extra punch.

We absolutely love the pulled together, but still casual, summer feel.
